     I think teacher pages on school websites are a very good idea. A teacher page on a school website makes it easy for the students and even parents to see what is expected of them. When I was in elementary, middle school, and highschool I always used to check my teacher's websites to see what I had due that night. I looked at St. Anastasia Catholic School's website and a 5th grade teacher, Mrs. Stapleton has test and quiz dates on her website. She also has school events that are coming up.

    I envision myself using technology to accomplish my professional responsibilities by definitely making my own teacher website. I will also assign my students homework that they can do virtually. Another thing I plan to do is use Zoom more. If a student must stay home sick and does not want to miss a day of class, now they can log on to Zoom.

     I did not really get to work on the wiki platform because our group was not getting the emails. I enjoyed the project we did however. I could have my future students create a wiki on a topic of their choice. I feel like this could help students learn material better.

      In my early experiences using Twitter, I honestly did not know how to work it very well. It took some time to figure out, but once I did, I loved it. I mainly interact with my friends and accounts I find funny. I find the funny pages beneficial to me because they always brighten my day. I also love following inspirational quote pages. These are beneficial to me because they tell me what I need to hear and also brighten my day. Blog Journal 2

    In my past educational experiences, I have used Microsoft Word many times. I learned how to use it in middle school in our computer lab, and that is where we would go to write our papers and print them. In highschool I almost always used MS Word, as well as, in college MS Word is primarily all I use. I have also used Google Docs but I feel more comfortable using MS Word. I do prefer how Google Docs lets you share the same document; however, I have used MS Word more and believe it is easier to save and transfer files on.     The ISTE Standard for Educators that is most meaningful to me is "Learner." I believe teachers should learn from their students, as well as, learning new technology and ways of teaching. The "Learner" Standard states how teachers should stay current with research, and I believe this is so important because new ways of teaching are always being created.      Hi, my name is Casey Daigle and I am from Fort Pierce, FL. I am a sophomore at FSU and I absolutely love it. My major is English Education.
